HIGHLIGHTS OF WINTER 2004:

It’s been a colder, snowier winter than usual here in Washington, DC, which made the respites in the Caribbean and in Arizona that much nicer.

Email from the Caribbean: This was sent from the island of Grenada in early December 2003.

Several days visiting my mother in Apache Junction, Arizona were relaxing and pleasantly uneventful. We did head off into the desert a couple times, including a visit to an Indian ruins we hadn’t seen before near Globe, Arizona. It was also good to catch up with my great aunt Dorothy, who lives next door to my mom, and my second cousin Glen, whom I hadn’t seen in over a decade. We all miss Uncle Clarence who passed away recently at the age of 93.
