Trip to Colorado -- Early in September,
I travelled to Colorado to sightsee at three National Parks/Monuments --
Mesa Verde, Great Sands, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison -- and to attend
the wedding of my long time good friend Tim Malloy and his bride Elizabeth.

3rd trip this year to Minnesota -- In late September, I went back to Minnesota to attend my 25th high school reunion and catch up again with friends and family. My classmates all looked a bit older, but not bad considering 25 years have passed.
My niece Rachel's visit to Washington --
Rachel, 14, was in Washington for the first time for a few days in October,
and we took in all the normal tourist sites.

My brother Dale's visit to Washington in November
-- My brother is something of a Civil War buff, so aside from seeing Washington
DC, we headed up to Gettysburg National Battlefield in Pennsylvania.
