Postcards From the Earth

The following are excerpts from postcards I sent home from around the world.     For clarity, I edited some of the original content    The first postcards do not go into much detail, but as time went on, I increasingly used postcards as a substitute for journal entries about my experiences and reflections of my surroundings (that is, given the very limited space of a postcard -- I kept writing smaller and smaller).   I list them approximately in chronological order by month.   (Note:  I actually sent 1088 postcards during the 31 months of my first world tour, and over 300 during the 12 months of my second world tour).
